On October 4th, 1993, came a little girl named Allison Brustofski to the world and it didn`t take a long time until they knew what she would be occupied with when she got older. She began performing at the age of three and participated in talent shows, 2009 she won “NY Songwriters Circle young artist award”.
- “NY Songwriters Circle young artist award”, what do you have to say about that?
- It was an honor to win the New York Songwriters` Circle`s Young Artist award in 2009 for my song “Rewind”. Winning this really helped me feel confident in my decision to switch from musical theatre to making my own my own music!
Although Ali is a successful artist, she has also done the voice of “Piper O´Possum”.
- In 2003 you was hired by Nickelodeon to be the voice of “Piper O´Possum”, how was that?
- I LOVED doing the voice of Piper O´Possum for Nick Jr. Everyone was so much fun to work with and I enjoyed every minute of bringing that character to life!
Ali Brustofski use Youtube as many others do to reach out with her music and for about 5 years ago she published her first video. This is something she has continued with and thanks to that she has been well recognized. She has over 340 subscribers and her cover of “Titanium” with David Guetta ft. Sia has over 10 million views! Last year she released her first EP “Dream Big” which has received very good reviews!
- A few months ago you released your first EP “Dream Big”, can you tell us the reason behind the title?
- “Dream Big” has always been my personal motto, so I couldn`t think of anything else to call my first EP!
- Last year was a good year for you, what are your expectations on this year?
- Last year was amazing! I can only imagine what the future has in store for me and my Dream Team!
- If you could decide, where are you in your career about 5 years?
- Hopefully I´ll be able to tour the world with my music in 5 years.
- What would be your advice to a young talented singer who want to be a big star?
- Work hard, believe in yourself and always dream BIG!
